Our main priority at Inzolo is to preserve this beautiful piece of Africa and to ensure that the animal and plant life indigenous to the region thrives. We have stringent policies and programmes in place to protect endangered species and ensure the necessary requirements for a healthy, flourishing ecosystem prevail.
CONSERVE, PRESERVE & PROTECT
PLANT A SPEKBOOM AT INZOLO
One hectare of spekboom plants can remove up to 4.2 tonnes of CO2 per year. This incredible plant is 10 times more effective at reducing carbon than tropical rainforest trees. We are committed to improving our environment and give our guest a unique opportunity to plant their very own “miracle” plant.
COMMITTED TO REDUCING PLASTIC
Our guests are given their own personal flask on arrival. These can be used on game drives and during the course of your stay with us to keep your water cool, or your coffee hot. Each chalet is equipped with a water dispenser so that guests can fill their flasks at any time. This small initiative goes a long way in reducing our plastic consumption
We have a separate breeding area where we maintain and monitor the genetic diversity of the areas Zebra, Buffalo, Springbok, Blesbok and Waterbuck populations. We are passionate about protecting all local, vulnerable and endangered species, with a specific focus on the Cape Mountain Zebra.
